(Con 1) Can Be Expensive: Some LG models can be quite expensive, especially those built for editing, gaming, or graphic design. ![]() They even have great budget options for those who simply want a reliable monitor for their home office. You’ll find an excellent IPS monitor for editing, gaming, streaming movies, graphic design, and more. They have many different sizes, resolutions, and features from which to choose. (Pro 1) Wide Range of Models: LG offers a wide range of monitor options at every price range. But, compare LG monitors vs Samsung monitors to see what they can do. LG monitors are known for their high quality and innovative features, and the company offers a range of computer monitor options, from budget-friendly models to high-end gaming monitors. Although best known for its TVs, the company also manufactures a wide range of other consumer electronics products, including computer monitors, smartphones, and home appliances. Today, it is one of the world’s leading electronics companies. In 1958, the company changed its name to LG Electronics and began exporting products to the United States. The company got its start in 1947 as Lucky Chemical Industrial Corporation. ![]() Although it’s not what LG stands for in Korea, the company’s slogan we’ve come to know in the states is “Life’s Good.” The brand produces a wide range of consumer electronics, including televisions, mobile device options, and computer monitors. ![]() LG is a South Korean multinational electronics company. This protects you from eye fatigue and will allow you to read lengthy documents without worrying about straining yourself. You’ll also have access to a “Reader Mode” that uses Flicker Safe dimming technology. You’ll be able to multitask with ease when you choose this model because of the full, unencumbered view it provides. This provides incredible color accuracy, even when viewing at wide angles. It’s meant for folks who have big desks with lots of room. However, having this much real estate can come with a glaring downside: this monitor may just be too large for your space. This ensures you can access as much real estate as you need and optimizes this model for split screens. It offers an innovative screen design that lessens the bevel until almost non-existent. Those who want a large workspace with little distraction will love this monitor. This allows you to play resource-heavy games with ease. It also works with Radeon FreeSync, reducing the amount of tearing or stuttering caused by miscommunication between a monitor’s refresh rate and a graphic card’s frame rate. This model has an ultra-thin bezel, so you don’t have to worry about distractions while working. Having a virtually non-existent border will ensure you have as much on-screen real estate to work with as possible. This might be distracting to some viewers, which could be a dealbreaker. Unfortunately, the screen does seem to have a slight texture according to some consumers. It also features dual HDMI ports for an even more straightforward setup process, which is similar to its cousin the LG 24L600F. It’s easy to use and will only take a couple of minutes to get things updated to your preferences. It could be a great choice for studio flats or bedrooms, as you could watch TV while playing on a games console, or keep up with Facebook while the football is on.The on-screen control provided by this monitor allows you to customize all of the settings available to you quickly. You can play with the aspect ratios of these inputs to make them fill half the screen or maintain their original aspect ratios. LG cleverly given the EB93 the ability to make use of two inputs simultaneously, splitting the display down the middle to display both sources at once. The panel is IPS, and looked great with vibrant colours, good viewing angles and decent contrast - all what you’d expect from a fancy monitor like this. The desktop space worked well enough in our brief time with it, though we'd really love to see one with a 1,600 pixel vertical resolution instead. That makes it roughly equivalent to a 24in Full HD monitor but with an additional 25% added to the side. The EB93 measures 29in across, with a resolution of 2,560x1,080. The wider display feels similar to having a two monitor setup, but without the desk clutter and intrusive bezels. On a monitor though it's less a multimedia stunt and more a different way of multitasking when working. ![]()
